Escalator 'explodes' at shopping mall
Shoppers at the Pandan Kapital mall in Pandan Indah, Kuala Lumpur, had the shock of their lives when an escalator there 'exploded' this afternoon.
It is understood that the loud explosion was caused by a technical malfunction on one of the escalators on the ground floor of the complex leading to the first floor.
The incident is said to have occurred at around 1pm and the management of the complex immediately called the technical team to repair the damage.
"The repair work was completed in less than half an hour," a source told Bernama today.
According to the source, this is the second incident occurring there since July.
News of the incident went viral on Facebook this afternoon.
No casualties or injuries were reported and it is understood that mall's management did not make a police report.

（新山25日訊）疑油站液化天然氣泵洩漏，油站技術人員欲前往關閉洩漏口時，天然氣泵卻突然爆炸，令他瞬間被大火吞噬，活活炸死！
據了解，消拯人員趕抵現場后，已快速將起火燃燒的天然氣泵部分滅火，但現場依舊有液化天然氣洩漏的味道，油站員工也不斷疏散附近圍觀民眾，避免不幸意外再度發生。
此事件于今午2時51分，在奧汀苑3/8路的馬石油油站內發生。
據《中國報》向現場民眾了解，該油站技術人員在事發時，因發現液化天然氣泵洩漏，于是便趕緊走往該泵的開關處，欲關閉洩漏口，但才步行到天然氣泵，即發生爆炸事故。
他們指出，有關技術人員來不及逃走，不僅被炸傷，全身也被熊熊烈火狂燒，而在其身上火勢撲滅后，該技術人員也已被全身燒焦，回魂乏術。
爆炸聲驚動居民
消拯局、民防部隊和新山班蘭醫院接獲消息后，已立即派出3輛救護車、1輛民防部隊車和1輛救護車趕抵現場，灌救的工作人員超過10人。
據了解，油站火勢于下午3時25分已全部撲滅，但現場工作人員透露，液化天然氣泵仍持續洩漏天然氣，禁止民眾靠近油站，并圍起黃色警戒線。
一些油站員工也露出驚魂未定的表情，拒絕受訪，并且灌救人員全程也戴上口罩，避免吸入不良氣體。
由于事發油站后方為一棟公寓，不少居民被油站的爆炸聲驚動，擔心被波及，紛紛從自己的單位，走到公寓樓下避難。

"Enam mangsa ditemui - semuanya maut,” kata tweet jabatan itu.
Pengarah Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Negeri, Othman Abdullah berkata seramai 166 anggota bomba dan 10 jentera dikejarkan ke HSA sebaik sahaja panggilan diterima pada 8.56 pagi tadi.
"Di ICU itu ada tujuh mangsa yang memang agak kritikal keadaannya yang difahamkan oleh doktor mereka terpaksa menggunakan bantuan pernafasan dalam keadaan normal jadi pesakit-pesakit itu tidak boleh dipindahkan sekiranya tiada katil sekali," katanya dilapor Bernama.
Othman berkata bagaimanapun kebakaran tidak merebak ke tempat lain.
Sementara itu Ketua Polis daerah Johor Bahru Selatan, ACP Sulaiman Salleh menasihatkan orang ramai agar tidak mempercayai sebarang maklumat yang tidak sahih mengenai kejadian itu.
Kejadian itu menyebabkan pesakit di wad berkenaan dibawa keluar untuk dipindahkan.
Asap hitam boleh dilihat berkepul di seluruh kawasan yang terjejas.

為解決病患問題，柔佛蘇丹依布拉欣發出御令，開放皇家病房做緊急用途！
殿下於週二下午1時許抵達新山中醫醫院，與柔州大臣莫哈末卡立諾丁一起聆聽醫院院長、消拯局和警方的匯報。
殿下在事後詢問院內的皇家病房是否依然正常運作，並通過莫哈末卡立諾丁轉述御令，下令醫院開放皇家病房，以解決病患問題。
莫哈末卡立諾丁證實，6名死者皆是加護病房的病患，事發時，病患都帶著氧氣罩，不排除死者是因為呼吸困難而死。
有關媒體詢及，院方的消防系統是否有定期檢查，莫哈末卡立諾丁回應說，這件事情交由消拯局調查。
另外，他也提到，柔州伊斯蘭宗教局也撥出10萬令吉，給院方、受影響的病患和家屬，作為應急。
